Check out the PocketDISH

This amazing device plays audio and video content at high quality, either on it's built-in video screen and stereo speakers, or through most any other electronic device via a/v outputs. It supports MP3, WMA (including protected files), WAV, AVI, and MPEG-4, as well as the associated cover art. For maximum convenience, some units come with a docking station and wireless remote.

You can plug directly into a digital camera and transfer image files, never again worrying if there is enough space available on that memory card you keep threatening to upgrade. The built-in DVR capabilities let you record from any analog audio and video inputs. A lot of people want a way to transfer old videotapes to DVD, and here is one very slick device to add to the list of potential solutions.

Since it's made by DISH Network, PocketDISH has the very unfair advantage of directly interfacing with the DISH DVR. A USB 2.0 connection lets you transfer all the shows and digital audio you've been recording directly from your satellite box. You can also transfer all of your files bidirectionally, with any computer you connect to. No longer will we involuntarily be subjected to the hoggishness of Apple's required software package.

DISH Network's thoughtful inclusion of a second USB connection, lets you take advantage of external devices like hard drives, jump drives, or video cameras. Not only has the functionality bar been raised, we'll also be seeing a lot more of our friend Competitive Pricing. With a price tag of just $300-600, and screen sizes ranging from 2.2 to 7 inches, I think we'll be hearing a lot more about this thing in the coming months.
